History

W.J.Holmes & Son Donaghcloney Family Butchers was established in 1974 by William James (Jim) Holmes who sadly passed away in 2004. Jims son William is now in control of the business. Since 1974 the business has grown from strengh to strengh. We have now been a successful business for 39 years
Staff
We have 3 full time staff; William Holmes proprietor, Alan Holmes and Adam Holmes and one part time worker, Martin Beggs who does our deliveries. William's mother May also continues to take an interest in the business.
What we do
We our Retail and Wholesale suppliers. The shop supplies a wide range of products from the basic beef, lamb, pork and poultry to a full selection of marinaded and stuffed meats. A delicatessen counter, groceries, breads, buns and cakes. Vegetables and confectionery are also available.

We also do tray packs into various shops and Service Stations. These include Donaghcloney's Nisa, Waringstown's Nisa, Mace Waringstown, Parkgate Service Station Lurgan and Bleary's Today's Local.

Awards
We have won many awards over the years which would inlude 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize for our Beef, Pork, and Pork and leek Sausages. Also our burgers we have won numerous prizes.
